Rumi Sumaq collects personal information only for completing orders. We never release or sell the names and addresses of our customers. Our checkout process is through PayPal, the most secure payment processing system on the web.


All items are handcrafted by designer Coco Paniora Salinas in the USA. Many designs are one of a kinds and are noted as such in the product description. If you are interested in ordering a one of a kind item that is “out of stock,” please contact us to see if Coco has the materials to replicate the design. Other Rumi Sumaq designs are reproducible. In this case, each design is an aesthetic equivalent of the product image but some natural variations are to be expected. Should our website experience many sales of the same design in a short time period, the time frame for delivery is dependent on Coco’s ability to produce each item individually.

Custom Orders

If you are interested in placing a custom order, please email us at rumisumaq@gmail.com to describe your desires and specifications. Coco will be happy to produce an item that is customized just for you. Similarly, if there is a piece that you see on our webpage that you want some variation of, please let us know. Coco would love to help you achieve your vision. A minimum deposit of 50% is required before Coco will start working on your custom design. Custom orders are typically processed in 4-6 weeks, but may take longer depending on the amount of work involved. Please understand that all custom orders are considered a final sale and no exchanges or returns will be accepted.


Please allow 3-5 business days for processing after your order is placed. We may be away at an art show for the weekend and cannot ship your item until we return home. All items will be shipped within the United States by the USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground. Ground shipping will take an estimated 3-7 business days to reach its destination. If you need to expedite your shipment, please contact us immediately and we will work with you to get you your item on time at an additional cost. All orders are carefully packaged, fully insured, and will have a tracking number to ensure delivery confirmation.

For international orders, we determine the best shipping company to use on a case by case basis. If you have a request for carrier, please let us know at the time you place your order. Please understand that we are not responsible for lost parcels or any custom’s fees or taxes that are incurred on your package at the time of delivery. Please check your country’s laws and policies for receiving international packages from the United States.


We want you to be happy with your Rumi Sumaq jewelry. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, you may exchange the item(s) for another design within two weeks of the date of delivery. Please email us at rumisumaq@gmail.com for a return authorization number. Kindly include your name, contact information, date of purchase, order number and a note indicating the product you are returning, the reason for your exchange, and the item(s) you would like instead. Items for exchange must be in new and unworn condition with the original packaging. Sorry, we cannot be held responsible for loss or damage of return shipments. It is highly recommended that you insure and track your packages to us. When sending products back, you are responsible for shipping costs. Please allow up to 14 business days for exchanges to be processed. If you are returning an item that arrived damaged please contact us immediately at rumisumaq@gmail.com so that we can alert the shipping provider. Please note that sale items and/or custom orders are not returnable.
