Memorial Day is upon us, the time to honor our fallen service men and women. In addition, it is the un-official opening weekend of summer.
Living on Martha’s Vineyard, that means the busy tourist season is here. Restaurants open again, harbors fill with boats, and the calendar section of the paper is filled with amazing events to choose from. Hello farmers markets, gallery walks, and wine tastings!
Most noteworthy, Memorial Day weekend marks the seasonal opening of the Vineyard Artisans Festivals.
Coco is thrilled to be exhibiting his Rumi Sumaq art jewelry at all of the Vineyard Artisans Festivals this year. The bi-weekly art show features the work of many talented artists who call Martha’s Vineyard home. The indoor and outdoor show offers an amazing array of art and fine craft. Each artisan fills their booth with unique handcrafted items that you can’t find anywhere else.

If you are spending Memorial Day weekend on Martha’s Vineyard, please join us at the Grange Hall in West Tisbury. The 19th Annual Memorial Day Weekend Vineyard Artisans Festival runs Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm. Parking and admission is free.
